Mayfly / GWR are one of the world's leading manufacturers of CCUs (Cargo Transport Units) for the offshore oil and gas sector. Founded in 2010 to provide DNV 2.7.1 Offshore Containers in Brazil, the company is now a global supplier of Offshore Containers.
Mayfly / GWR have design and manufacturing facilities in Brazil and the United Kingdom.
Our product line includes offshore containers, baskets, offshore Mud Skips, workshops and tool boxes.
Mayfly / GWR's client base includes most of the leading offshore leasing, exploration and production companies.
Our Factory is located in Carapebus, on the BR 101 just 40km north of Macae, the "Capital do Petroleum" which provides a strategic access point to the main ports of Brazil for the offshore market.
Beginning production in early 2011 with more than 60 local employees, our factory offers high productivity, flexibility with the same internationally known quality of our partner companies.
We also offer 100% local content on all products to meet Petrobras' demand. With more than 160 DNV 2.7-1 approved projects and with our team of designers, we can guarantee to meet your requirements in whatever your need.

OUR FACTORY
Our factory is equipped with modern facilities and equipment for blasting and painting designed to meet a large volume of production.
Production - 40 points for Welding Machines – Area of 1200m2.
Painting - Our painting area of 500m2.
Shot-blasting - 140m2 --- The shot is automatically recycled for a more productive operation.
Finishing – Area of 500m2.
Our products are thoroughly inspected during each process.

COMPANY
Mayfly / GWR with its partners have been manufacturing steel containers for Offshore use for more than 25 years and have accumulated a large list of design drawings and approvals.
Containers have some similarities to standard containers, but they are of a much higher specification and of different shapes and sizes, are used for transporting anything (from drill pipes to food supplies) shipped from Ports to offshore oil platforms.
Offshore Containers are used for multiple voyages, having to withstand loading and unloading in rough seas and are expected to have a service life of up to 20 years. Prior to delivery to our customers, they are rigorously inspected and tested.
They are signed as fit to be used by one of the authorized agencies like DNV or Lloyds.
Our projects are also approved by one of these agencies for each type of container.
